IPrefs - Better errorhandling. - An error at (limited) FastIPrefs compatibility was removed. Utilities - A new utility is introduced with this BoingBAG: AnimatedIcon! It can show animated icons on the Workbenchscreen (as AppIcons) where you want to. This can be gif-anims as well as strips that are used for transferanimations. The Tooltypes are compatible to AWeb Transfer-Anim Tooltypes. (Doubleclick "Christmas-Look" and see what happens !) Prefs - Resizing can no longer crash the machine. - The sound preferences editor does not forget the users selected pitch when loading any prefs file anymore. - The font preferences editor now shows Workbench-Backdrop pattern in "screen" and Window-Backdrop pattern in "window". - Closing gadget in WBPattern works now correctly and resets patterns. - The Workbench preferences editor now uses volume names instead of device names when possible. HDToolbox - The default blocksize is now 1024, instead of 512 before. - The default buffers are now increased to 80. - cybppc.device and cybscsi.device support has been improved SetPatch - The new SetPatch has been improved in many ways. SetPatch works better now in conjunction with 4way adaptors and other additional hardware. - scsi.device has been enhanced. - New ram-handler. - The system is now more robust. Commodities - "Blanker" is saving its Tooltypes correctly now. - General improvements and better GUI layout. Datatypes - Text datatype has been enhanced. - The handling of hyperlinks in the amigaguide datatype has been improved. Current dir is set to the directory where the root document resides. Documentation - To make the documentation more "browsable" the new tool "NicerDocu" has been created. This tool splits the long texts into seperate sections that can be browsed very fast. It also copies the documentation onto the harddisk. The Tool comes with an installer. Misc - Format and Diskcopy has been reworked and improved. - Under special circumstances the "List" command could ran into a neverending recursion. This is fixed now. - New manufacturer IDs have been added to the database of ShowConfig.
